About Us
The Nigerians in Diaspora Organization, Netherlands (NIDO-Netherlands) is a non-profit organization registered within the legal rights and obligations of Dutch law as a STICHTING (FOUNDATION), in the first quarter of year 2002, as a rallying point of Nigerians in the Netherlands desirous of contributing to the development of Nigeria.
The Nigerians In Diaspora Organization (NIDO) is an initiative of the Chief Olusegun Obasanjo led government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The initiative was prompted by the recognition of the huge reserve of knowledge and expertise resident in Nigerians living outside Nigeria and the contributions they could make to the socio-economic development of their country.
